Jim DeGaetano JR.

Jim DeGaetano is an award-winning CEO, Founder, Wealth Advisor based in Carlisle, Pennsylvania with 18 years of experience in the field.

Jim is CEO and founder of Diamond Wealth Advisors. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, CPA, and Certified Exit Planning Advisor, his mission is to provide emotional and financial clarity. Jim loves working with those looking to retire, especially business owners and those who have served our country in the military. Jim’s ‘why’ is helping others with theirs.

Jim graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and from Widener University with a Master of Business Administration degree. He holds a Series 66 securities registration, plus state life and health insurance licenses.
An active member of the community, Jim is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Financial Services Institute, and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs. Jim is a past President of the Rotary Club of Carlisle. He also volunteers with Junior Achievement, is a member of the College of Business Advisory Board for Shippensburg University, the Carson Group advisory council, and is a member of the Carlisle Chamber of Commerce and the West Shore Tax Club.

Jim is an accomplished author who has written two insightful books. His first book, “The Fruitful Retirement,” offers a comprehensive guide to planning a financially secure and fulfilling retirement. In his second book, an Amazon Bestseller, “Larry the Bunny Saves His Money,” Jim introduces young readers to the importance of financial literacy through a charming and educational story. His most recent book, “’Twas the Night Before Retirement,” was just published in December 2025. All works reflect his dedication to helping people of all ages achieve financial well-being.

Jim lives in Carlisle with his wife, Jen, and their two kids, Anna and Garrett. He is a member of St. Patrick’s Church and loves the community in which he grew up. He coaches both basketball and baseball youth sports. He enjoys the four seasons, sports and spending time with his family and friends.
