Meet Kona Tai
Kona is half Boxer half Shepherd. Her main responsibility is boosting morale by existing. She specializes in silent encouragement, strategic snuggling, and smiling at people until they feel better. She is also extremely soft and can help you open locked doors.
Kona joined the Greenawalt family in2020 and immediately took over. She has no formal education, but she’s highly trained in household patrol, pillow-sharing, and walking off leash like she owns the neighborhood. She barks maybe four times a year – usually just to celebrate spotting deer or rabbits in the yard.
She enjoys long walks in the mountains, squirrel-spotting, checking on every family member before bed, and sleeping like a human under the covers with her head on a pillow. Her hobbies include rolling over dramatically for belly rubs, supervising the yard for 4-8 hours a day, and pretending she didn’t just ask for more chicken or steak.
